- In June 2017, Christine Stuart received a Moreton Bay Regional Council RADF (Regional Arts Development Fund) funding to travel to Cairns for the Puliima National Indigenous Language & Technology Forum 2017. This project is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.The Moreton Bay Regional Council recognises the contribution of locals to the Moreton Bay region and local areas. Arts Queensland funding demonstrates a commitment by the Queensland Government on behalf of the public and reflects a partnership between the state and local governments.
- In May 2017, Christine Stuart received NAIDOC funding for this year’s theme ‘Our Languages Matter’ from the Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships. This opportunity allowed Christine to fund a local cultural workshop to teach the local community of the local Aboriginal language and culture.Each year, NAIDOC Week celebrations highlight the rich and diverse culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This project is supported by the Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships.
