Gubbi Gubbi Children’s Language Books

Price: $15 each
(+ postage)

Gubbi Gubbi Animal Friends and Gubbi Gubbi Bush Tucker Girl are Aboriginal children’s books intended to promote the language and culture of the Gubbi Gubbi people. Authors: Christine Stuart and Susan Clark

Each book contains 10 Gubbi Gubbi language words that are easy to learn alongside picture associations. The books use, as its basis, the lands and language of the Gubbi Gubbi people (recognised traditional owners of the lands of which we walk on).

The artwork showcased in ‘Gubbi Gubbi Animal Friends’ is by local Sunshine Coast artist Bianca Clark. For the second book, ‘Gubbi Gubbi Bush Tucker Girl’, the illustrations are by Bianca Clark and upcoming artist Gabrielle Cloutier. Both artists joined together their talents to create a modern day illustration of the Gubbi Gubbi people.

We are proud to advise that this is a total Indigenous production.

**All books are included in Gubbi Gubbi Cultural/ Art Workshops**
